 Our management team consists of the partnership of Mark, Dickey and Steve Laney along with Robert H. Hamil. The Laney’s over the past 28 years have built a reputation for serving the pipeline industry as a competent Road Crossing Contractor. As a former Manager of Operations for other directional drilling companies, both domestic and foreign, Robert H. Hamil brought over thirty years of experience to the company. Mark Laney, President works closely with Robert D. Hamil, Manager of Operations, and together they manage a group of highly experienced professionals. All of our drilling equipment and our support equipment is designed and built by us at our Houston facility. The year 2007 celebrates eighteen years in business for Laney Directional Drilling Co. as one of the world's leading Pipeline Directional Drilling Contractors.

Currently Laney Directional Drilling Co. has 15 hydraulic powered drilling rigs; capable of projects with sizes ranging from 4" to 54" in diameter with crossings completed over 7,200 feet in length. In May of 2003 Laney was pleased to introduce the largest directional drilling rig ever manufactured with pull back capabilities in excess of 1,700,000 pounds. Laney also has all the necessary support equipment and mud recovery systems along with various transport trucks and trailers, to name just a few.

Laney also does a large amount of overseas and out of the country work. We have completed numerous projects in Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Africa, Spain and South America. We also have completed several directional drilled crossings in for project Restore Iraqi Oil (R.I.O).
